Lately the Cosmos is churning up energies that force us to face things that are truly uncomfortable – all while amplifying our deepest yearnings for what we wish we could have instead.

I feel called to share with you what I’ve observed and understood. We are all trying to find our way, trying to make the right choice or a better choice, to turn away from fear (or at least not get caught up in the drama of it) and to turn towards kindness and love, the best we can.

Churning And Yearning

Churning and Yearning

What’s churning right now:

  • our deepest fears
  • our deepest longings
  • what we think are failures (our own and others)

And it’s all happening in the context of overwhelming, confusing activity that takes over our attention – so much that we don’t get the privilege of noticing what kind of soup is boiling until we’re in it over our heads, and then we don’t know what to do to save ourselves (at first.)

Everyone on the planet is going through this right now.  I’ll venture to say that there are folks who are getting through it without being too badly charred from the flames of transformation, though. Some of us are riding the waves like ninjas – and you can do that too. I’ll talk more about that later in this article.

We all long for something better, and we all have different ideas about what that would look like. That’s both fascinating and challenging in its complexity and richness. We all yearn for peace, simplicity, beauty, and yes – love. Yet we’re all exhausted from the seemingly incessant onslaught of heavy stuff.

Today, while the cosmic energies are gearing up for immense changes over the next six months (and for the next twenty years beyond), I want to give you some perspective. I hope this will help you take care of yourself and your communities so you can be effective and impactful without collapsing.

First, I want to talk about what’s going on. What’s the truth of the world we find ourselves in right now? After that, I want to talk a little bit about how we got here. And finally, I want to talk about how we get through it, how we get out of the mess, and – what it all means for a future whose potential is beautiful beyond our ability to conceive of it from where we are now.

This won’t be a fast read; in fact if time is an issue for you, I might just record it so you can listen instead of reading.. If I decide to do that, I’ll come back later and insert the link so you can listen while you’re in motion elsewhere. Keep your fingers crossed; I’m #notageek so it might take me a while to figure out.

This would be a good time for you to grab a cup of your favorite healthy beverage and settle in for a stimulating read.

Let’s begin.

I’ve been paying attention to some broad themes that contribute to the topic we’re discussing today. And, for the first time in public, I’m sharing what I see, so that others can benefit from it.

What I’ll be sharing might be disturbing. It might trigger you, if you’ve been through traumas and are still recovering. I’ll warn you it will probably be uncomfortable. But, as one of the astrologers I follow tells us, “this year is not about being comfortable, it’s about being real.”

And that’s what I’m called to share today – the truth of what I’m seeing, what I’ve observed. Of course it comes through my own filters (which in full transparency I’ll name as “soul mechanic/healed survivor/consciousness worker/change-maker/thought leader/progressive”.)  We all have filters; it helps to know what they are.

I’ll be as objective as I can, but do take my filters into account. At least I’m aware of my biases – and I invite you to be aware of yours as well – while keeping an open mind so as to take in information that could actually help you. Hopefully I’ve structured everything in a way that helps you make sense of it all.

Another thing you should know about me:  I read widely and not just from my own siloed channels; I access material from sources I trust and from sources I don’t, because I truly want to try to understand how someone who does not share my own beliefs can come to the conclusions they do.

Sometimes that effort is revealing and other times utterly discouraging. I believe that having the broadest possible view of the world yields a much richer tapestry and often a constructive plan. At the very least I learn something.

With that out of the way, let’s dig in. There’s a lot to cover.

First. What’s the truth about the world we find ourselves in right now?  How do we know what’s real? How to we know who and w to trust?

Let’s look at context.

– Things* are coming at us faster than we can process; It feels like a firehose of urgency, and the only real response is overwhelm.

*Here’s a short list of the key elements I’ve been able to identify since 2014:

— Climate crises and natural disasters, decimating entire cities in their wake
— A global pandemic and the effects it’s had on health, safety, and economic stability in this country and around the world
— Alarming increase of mass shootings and gun violence, leaving families and whole communities stunned and grieving
— Escalating political turmoil, both global and domestic
—  The rise of mass disinformation and gaslighting in certain major media, creating a climate of skepticism and distrust.

There’s more – but this mix is enough to create a kind of toxic stew in which we are still trying to function, under the distinct disadvantage of feeling morally, emotionally, mentally, and physically fatigued.

– With so much overload, it gets harder and harder to get and stay grounded and centered, and to do basic self care such as: finding time to reflect and process; making sure all your basic health needs are getting the attention they deserve (and require under stressful conditions); communicating clearly with loved ones and important people in your sphere of influence; giving yourself enough time to make good decisions and smart choices; and – lest we forget – making time for fun and play. (Wait! That’s still an option??!!??)

– The Cosmos is kicking our butts. For the past decade, we’ve entered a fast-track path of rapid change. And since early 2024, we entered a highly volatile period whose energy is designed to shift power dynamics from top-down (power held by just a few at the top) to power-shared (where power is distributed more equitably and fairly among all.)

This energy causes those who currently hold power to panic, in response to which they try to hold onto as much as they can. At the same time, a growing number of people are reaching the breaking point after centuries of being among the disenfranchised and dis-empowered – and they are seeking ways to get more control over their lives.  There’s more to be said about this, and I’ll get into it later.

– We can easily feel like victims (and some of us actually are) – helpless against forces we can’t control. In defense of that feeling, we may want to shut down, numb ourselves, escape. But those reactions aren’t solutions; they only work for a short period of time (if they work at all.) There are healthier ways to cope, and I’ll get to that.

– We long for relief – and to contribute to a better future. Those impulses can often come into conflict with one another. While confusion and chaos are the energies within which we’re trying to function, our inner urges for stability, balance, fairness, and goodness are pushing us to try to find answers – and to make the churning stop. . Unfortunately, the churning is not likely to stop for a good long while (two decades at least.) But there’s good news. (See the next point.)

– When we reframe our experiences, we get fresh insights and the power to make better choices. Despite the challenges, we’re rapidly growing and learning new skills. We’re rapidly developing our collective abilities to self regulate, stabilize, and be still in our own centers. We’re learning how to master ourselves – partly because we suddenly want to, but also because we must.

How these tensions will resolve is anyone’s guess, but what I know (and understand deeply) is that it’s up to ALL of us to figure out. No one person has the answers, but collectively we all do – and it’s up to us to choose wisely during this twenty-year window that’s opened for us.

The potential is here and we can see and feel it. For some, it holds the thrill of possibility; for others it portends the terrors of loss. These are the realities we face – just around the issue of power and who gets to hold it, who gets to say how it’s used, and who gets to decide. Other things are churning too, but the changes around power, who holds it and how it’s used, are leading us deeper into a bold and bracing moment in time.

– This is a time where Truth will find you – whether you want it to or not. The Cosmic energies are forcing it; it’s not personal – yet it is, for each of us experiencing it.

So this is where we are now. It’s rather a mess – but we’re getting better at cleaning up messes and trying not to make new ones.

From a wider lens, we can understand that deep change feels chaotic. As things fall apart, there’s a lot of dust and commotion – and likewise as things are being built . The churn comes when we’re in the middle of it. Like right now.

Things are breaking down, mostly because they didn’t work. We are in a process of renewal (and it’s important – IMHO – to look at it this way.)

How did we get here?

If (and when) we ever have time to pause and reflect, this question is sure to come up. The topic is too big to cover in one article, but I do want to highlight a few of the contributing factors.  While much of what’s happened has global causes, for this article I’ll be referring mostly to the USA and the effects of the churn here.

– The Cosmic energies at play kick up inner turmoil for everyone. It’s a time to question everything. Things that have been kept secret, sometimes for centuries, are being dug up and the truth revealed. People are going to react to these discoveries, in all kinds of ways.

– Corruption and deceit are being exposed. We are collectively being confronted with the underbelly of things we didn’t want to see, haven’t wanted to know. But it’s in our faces now and we can’t turn our heads and pretend. More about this as we continue.  Those who are guilty of corruption and deceit no longer have anywhere to hide; they are being found out and held accountable, slowly but surely

– Chaos is not just a byproduct, it’s an effective strategy. In many parts of the world the right wing has had an agenda to create chaos, during which they knew there would be opportunities to advance their intentions under cover of subterfuge and deceit.

In our country this has been aided by foreign interference in the form of extremely effective massive disinformation campaigns. The right wing created openings and took advantage wherever they could. More about this later.  (That’s not to say that other sides of the political spectrum are entirely innocent; there are bad actors on all sides.  It’s just that the right wing has been actively using these tactics much longer than the rest of us knew, until recently.)

– Deceptive practices enabled those in power to get away with unpopular plans. The right wing knows that their policies are very unpopular for the majority of the country, so they have used deceptive practices to disguise their intentions and their actions, hoping to sneak them in under cover of darkness and ignorance.  For a time, this worked, until enough people discovered what’s happening and began to object and fight back.

This leads us to where we are now – the perpetrators continuing to attempt subterfuge while those who don’t want their policies gear up to replace them with people and policies that serve a greater good, the commonwealth. What’s done is being uncovered – and made public.

– Inequities between the haves and the have-nots have reached epic proportions. According to inequality.org: “Income disparities are now so pronounced that America’s richest 1 percent of households averaged 104 times as much income as the bottom 20 percent.” It’s estimated that the richest 1% hold $44 trillion in wealth, for example. This did not happen by accident, but by design. The imbalance of power is one of the things up for examination as we enter the Aquarian Age. It will be deeply felt, discussed, and addressed during the next twenty years.

– Infiltration of all our power structures has created an atmosphere of instability. An obvious example of this are the last three Supreme Court justices, whose radical agendas are beginning to play out in real time now, not only in decisions (they told the Senate they would not make) but also in the kinds of cases they are choosing to hear, many of which would advance their own unpopular right wing agendas. Once in power, there is now nothing short of impeachment to stop them, and that prospect is highly unlikely.

Another example is how the infiltration of MAGA extremists into the House of Representatives has turned that once-stable body of government into a dysfunctional nightmare – again, not by accident but on purpose, so that they can use it to argue that government doesn’t work. (Hint: it only works if those running it intend for it to do so.)

– Gaslighting has become an effective tool for those who get power through deceitful means. As all authoritarian leaders know, if you repeat a lie long enough people will eventually accept it as truth. Gaslighting has become so pervasive and rampant that it’s hard to know who to believe and what to trust – which was the point. It’s working.

The best example we have of this is the lie that the 2020 election was stolen. It wasn’t, but now (according to recent polls) around 30% of Americans and almost 70% of Republicans believe it. That is due to a continuous barrage of messaging through right wing media outlets and companies they control that pounds this lie relentlessly out to the listening public, and through members of Congress who continue to repeat it (all of whom actually know better but are in positions of influence and are therefore more trusted.)

– We’ve reached a point where the far right feels comfortable enough to say the quiet part out loud. Under the confusing barrage of disinformation we get on a now-daily basis, the far right has become brazen enough to start revealing their true agenda in public. They no longer bother to hide their aims and purpose.

A chilling article was posted recently outlining their 2025 plan – which details a complete takeover of power at every level of government, and the utter destruction of an orderly democratic society we’ve come to trust. It’s a game plan for a fascist takeover, complete with white supremacist goals and ambitions. Unless you are a white, male, Christian nationalist, you’re not going to like what happens in that kind of country. (More about that in a moment.)

– Authoritarians are making a grab for control around the world. While we were attempting to cope with the barrage of critical events we faced, a new and serious new threat was emerging in the form of authoritarian grabs for power around the world; we face that threat now in America.

The list of countries already identified as under the control of authoritarian governments includes China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Syria, and Sudan. Will America be next? Only if we allow it.

The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think-tank funded by the richest individuals in the country, just released a document they call Project 2025. (You can easily find it online by entering that phrase into any search engine. They even have a Wikipedia page!) It’s a real document, outlining their real plans, which include (brace yourself, this is only a partial list):

– vastly increase executive powers for the President, to make it almost totalitarian
– dismantle the rule of law and separation of powers
— pack the government with loyalists to an authoritarian regime and fire anyone who would oppose the “party line” policies, regardless of tenure and ability (in other words, people who know how to effectively run the government)
– slash funding for the Department of Justice, dismantle the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, gut environmental and climate change regulations in favor of fossil fuel production, eliminate the departments of Education and Commerce, and end the independence of various federal agencies such as the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Trade Commission, and curtail the powers of the Food and Drug Administration and Environmental Protection Agency.
– jail critics of the government (without proof of criminal activity), starting with media who will not cooperate with the propaganda being pushed
– arrest, detain and deport “undesirables” – which would include illegal aliens for starters, but other minority groups would also be targeted along racial, religious, and ethnic backgrounds
– end anti-discrimination laws and protections for GLBTQ
– enact national abortion bans with no exceptions whatsoever for any reason
– invoke the Insurrection Act to force the military to pursue domestic adversaries (currently it is illegal to use the military to take action against civilians but Project 2025 would disregard this and other laws that are inconvenient to their exercise of complete control.)
– attempt to infuse Christianity into all levels of the government, to the exclusion of other faiths – which is against the very precepts upon which our country was founded; freedom of religion is a core precept and value built into the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Project 2025 doesn’t agree with that and wants to change it.

For those of us who believe in a democratic form of governance, Project 2025 raises the chilling prospect of a complete governmental overthrow, such that power would remain permanently in the hands of those who wish to control everything for their own gain.

The far fight is no longer hiding what it wants to do. It wants to dismantle the entire form of government we currently have, and replace it with a system guaranteed to keep the rich in permanent control of everything from the law to healthcare (or the lack of it), to human rights to the environment and everything in between.

If those in power decide to do something, even if the entire country opposes it, nothing would stop them from doing it. The current checks and balances we’ve fought so hard to create and maintain would be wiped out automatically and permanently. They are stating their intentions in the clearest possible terms, and letting the world know that they are putting everything they can into making it happen. I’ve read it and it’s a truly chilling document.

For many people, the thought that such a thing as a Project 2025 could become a possibility is unthinkable. “It can’t happen here” is perhaps a comforting thought – but only if it’s true. The threat this time is very real, even though a majority of people in America don’t like anything about it and would not want it to happen.

At this point, I’d like to remind you that it’s not my intention to scare you to death. It’s my intention to paint as full a picture as I can about what’s happening, how we got here, and what we can do about it.

Knowing what someone’s up to gives us a clearer picture of what we’re up against — but please avoid despair.  Plans are just that:  plans.  Project 2025 is the plan the far right wants.  Other people have other plans and intentions — most of them aligned much better with what will actually help people, and with what a majority of people most want.

For instance, the Democratic party has plans to reduce the costs of prescription drugs so that people can afford to stay healthy; create more new good-paying jobs so that more people can have better lives; address the climate crisis with new solutions to keep more people safe; make it easier for all people to vote; create a law making abortion safe and available nationwide, with that decision left up to the woman and her medical provider, not the government.

Those are just a few of the initiatives I’m aware of at this writing.  I know there are more plans in the works that will be part of the party’s platform going into the 2024 election.  It’s obvious that there will be a clear choice this year between who and what will help all the people, vs who and what will help only those at the top (politically and economically.

Yes, some of the realities (and prospects) we face are truly ugly – but the time is long past when we can afford to ignore them just because they’re hard to look at. It’s been hard for me, too, but that’s not an excuse I can afford to make any longer. Collectively we do have the courage and power to create solutions, no matter how challenging it feels. I believe this and I hope you still do too.

I oppose the Project 2025 agenda because it does not serve a greater good, nor is it what a majority of the people of America want.  There are better answers to the problems we face, and frankly The Universe is not going to support anything that leads us backwards. The energy of the Cosmos during this new twenty-year cycle is all about creating new forms and structures that serve the whole of humanity in equitable, transparent and just ways.

Everyone has a rightful place in the circle – although we are still learning how to create the kind of world where that actually works. We are in The Aquarian Age now; the old order is crumbling under the dazzling possibilities it brings. We have yet to explore what that means, because we’re still in the Churn and Yearn part of the cycle. There’s much to experience and much to discover between here and where we end up two decades from now.

– Outside interference pushes the dysfunction deeper. While we now have more than enough evidence to prove that there was foreign interference in the last two elections (primarily from Russia), so far we don’t seem to know how to stop it.

Effective disinformation campaigns now come not just from foreign powers but are being parroted by elected officials in both chambers of the government (House of Representatives and Senate) along with their co-opted media enablers. This, too, was part of the design to attempt to maintain power no matter what the cost.

– Our future depends on We The People understanding the truth of what has happened, how we got here, who is behind it all, and what we can do about it. That is one reason I am writing this article. I want to do my part to clear the air, help people understand, and empower individuals to take appropriate action to heal this mess and make sure we don’t create a worse one.

– It’s all about power. The themes of the twenty-year cycle we’re entering is all about transforming our relationship with power. That plays out in strange ways; sometimes it takes dramatic events to get us to change, to break out of our comfortable habits and notice what’s wrong, notice what needs fixing, and decide to do something about it, unfortunate as that sometimes may be.

January 6 was an attempted coup to overthrow the US government and keep Trump in power. Plans for this and a continuing, rolling coup were put in place by the far right – and their covert plans are now being uncovered and revealed. Many of the leaders are now under federal indictment and are heading to court; hundreds of the perpetrators of the January 6th violence have already been tried, convicted and sentenced.

As we’ve seen, apparently Trump and his enablers will do anything they can to make sure he stays in power, because if he doesn’t, he will be tried (and likely convicted) in criminal court for the many crimes he committed while in office.

So far, there are so many crimes already charged that a long list of others will probably get lost in the shuffle (including his flaunting of any law he didn’t like, such as the Emoluments Clause, which limits what he can legally receive from foreign sources. It’s been reliably reported that he has received millions of dollars in campaign funds along with other benefits including potentially lucrative real estate deals overseas in multiple countries.)

All of these acts are illegal, yet there are so many other crimes for which he has been indicted, it’s hard to see if the rest of them will ever be charged in future. Once he’s convicted, it might not be worth going after the “lesser but also serious” crimes he committed, because justice will be served once he’s found guilty and is serving sentences for those.

While the far right took dramatic action according to their beliefs and desires, what that did for the rest of us was to make clear some things we didn’t want to see. We largely didn’t believe anyone would seriously go to those lengths to stay in power; but we were wrong about that. Now we understand that those in power will attempt to hold onto it, using any means they can. We ignore that fact (and I am calling it a fact because there is now enough evidence that proves it) at our own peril.

The one benefit of January 6 (if there is one) is that what was hidden before is now visible. We get to see it, and we get to choose whether this is what we want for our country or not. We get to understand what it might take if we want to keep a democratic form of government going forward – and that if we do want it, we might have to defend it in new ways.

We may never have imagined it would come to this, but here we are. Our individual choices – about everything – truly matter. We can now start to see how this works, at a scale never before possible.

– We are suffering from collective PTSD. Never before in the history of our country have we ever had someone in power at the highest levels who has been so corrupt and disrespectful of our laws and common decency. We are still reeling from the shock of it. It’s been overwhelming, which is something else we can add to the already long list of serious things that have stressed us in recent years.

We’re all suffering from the after-effects of being gaslighted, deceived, and abused at the hands of a very experienced malignant narcissist named Donald Trump. We are suffering from collective PTSD of the Trump presidency and then from the (thankfully failed) coup he planned and carried out on January 6, 2021 – along with the grief we feel at the loss of our stability, integrity, and the many other losses we’ve suffered as a result of his incompetent and corrupt reign of power.

Our PTSD comes not only from the Trump years, though, however potent that abuse might have been. As we’ve already covered, we’ve been through a global pandemic; more than 2500 mass shootings since Trump took office (Pew research estimates a 23% increase in gun violence since before Trump’s presidency); we’ve averaged more than 18 natural disasters per year over the past decade, each creating billion-dollar losses; and there have been a number of global events that disrupted life in increasingly complicated ways during this period. The stack of traumas overlay one another and contribute to a personal and global cry for relief and healing.

How We Get Through It All And Where We Go From Here

As I see it, the path to healing is not yet clear, but the need for it is.  Nor is it likely that there will be a single solution that covers everything that needs a remedy – but I do see a will and growing urgency to create such solutions, to find our way through in better shape than when we began.

What I see and understand is that there is hope, for us as individuals and for a world hungry for peace, beauty and love. When we have the kind of deep conversations we’re having today, and when we make true connections with one another, without precept or deceit, together we can build something strong, something good and beautiful.

When we face the truth, we can melt fear. We can create safety. We can invite love to the party and make it worthwhile to stay.

I don’t know what your answer is. I don’t even know many of my own answers yet. But I think that we’re starting to ask the right questions. When we do that, the right answers come.

What I know is that the future is created by each of us, through the thoughts we think, the words we speak, and the actions we take every day.

— It is critical for each of us to do our own work.  Never mind what anyone else is or isn’t doing.  We need to get off the shame-and-blame wheel long enough to focus on our own growth, our own self management, our own ability to self regulate.  The more people who can do this, who can BE this, the more easily we will collectively face a future that holds the potential to be more beautiful than we can now dream.

The leaders of tomorrow might well be those survivors of the pain of the past and of the churn of the present moment; these are the people who know all too well the consequences of failure — and the sweetness of truth and repair.  They have deep wisdom to share.  Think about how we can help them take on new roles, how we can support them to speak their truth, how we can make it safe for them and for everyone to have a rightful place at the table.

The time is coming (and frankly is already here) when we need to hear what they have to say.  We need to know what they have to teach us, what they see as viable and practical ways through and beyond.  Lift up their voices — and while we do, help make it safe for all voices to be heard, so that the tapestry we weave together, the music we bring, is strong and beautiful.

With all that said, here is what I see shaping up for the future, from where we stand right now. No one knows how it will turn out, because we’re in the process of creating it. But these are the things, in my viewpoint, that hold the greatest likelihood of becoming reality:

– We stop looking to leaders to solve everything for us. We don’t need “saviors” anymore. We stop expecting the cavalry; we’re the ones we’ve been waiting for. We’re learning the power (there’s that word again!) of collective consciousness. We are learning how to become response-able as individuals and as groups; we’re starting to learn how our individual thoughts and actions influence outcomes, and that the power of one is magnified through connection and shared goals and experiences. This is huge and mighty!

– Our growing awareness of our skills as a human community will lead us to make real more and more of the visions we can dream together. Ideas take form faster and faster, and with the assistance of the vast potential of new tools such as AI (artificial intelligence) and 3D printing, the options are limitless. Our new tools will take us much farther faster than ever before.

– The brilliance of younger generations partner comfortably with the wisdom and experience of their elders — producing stable, sturdy, durable innovation and elegant solutions to problems once thought impossible to solve.

– As we learn to be still but move fast and nimbly, we take a big step towards self regulation and self mastery. Those who are able to adapt using this skill will become the leaders who make a difference in the outcomes we produce.

– We become more able to take care of the basics (self care/grounding) while reconnecting with the natural world, from which our very blood and bones are created. We renew our reverence and respect for the natural world not as a resource to be used and managed, but as a conscious partner in co-creating a world that works for all living things. In this way, we restore the balance while embracing the hidden potential of co-creation that we’ve been missing since the planet was first formed eons ago.

– We turn from drama and an addiction to stimulation and return to a deeper, more meaningful way to relate to Source, ourselves and one another. We repair the self esteem damaged by trauma and victimization, and step into our real power, which is personal sovereignty, dignity and intelligent and heart-centered choice. We heal from the wounds of the past, and learn how not to create more of them for ourselves or others.

– We learn to face our fears and gather the courage to do so. The moment you notice yourself becoming anxious or fearful, ask yourself these questions:

  • Who is trying to scare you? Make you angry?
  • What are they trying to get you to do? Why?
  • Who benefits from the actions you’re being led to take?

When you get clear about the answers to these questions, it becomes much easier to find a pathway through and out of it.

– What we yearn to create together will lead us through the chaos and fury of dissolution and destruction, and open the way for what we need to be and do together. We are the ones and now is the time. We are all here because we have a part to play, something to contribute that creates the kind of moral order and stable world that no one needs to recover from.

The only thing stopping us is the longing we fear to face. We’re afraid of our own mastery – our power as we learn to self regulate and master ourselves. We fear we’ll repeat patterns that have caused harm – and with good reason. But we now have a choice to make: shall we fail to become all that we can be for fear that our greatness is too scary? Is mastery just another burden to bear?

That is a decision for each of us to make. But I will say this about it. As Anais Nin said, at some point it becomes more painful to remain a tight, closed bud than it is to blossom fully. Collectively, it’s more painful to keep suffering (and perpetuating the causes of suffering) than it is to choose a different path forward.

Change means overcoming the inertia of stasis; that is never easy. It takes effort. What I want to point out is that the next two decades are providing more than enough stimulation to give us whatever is needed to do just that. We are being graced with the will and inspiration to discover how to change our personal and collective relationship to power – in ways that truly benefit everyone, not just a few. We’re making the huge shift from self-serving to kind, heart-centeredness. It takes time; there’s a lot to unpack.

For those currently in power, some Universal truths might help here. First, the Universe holds unlimited supply – which means there is no need to grasp and hoard, because there will always be more than enough supply to meet all needs and more. If those currently in control of power in the world were to fully understand these Universal laws, they could potentially make some shifts that would enable them to have more than they need and still have enough left over for the rest of the world.

This isn’t theory; it’s what the Universe is showing us. There is potential for both peace and violence ahead; it’s up to individuals and our collective will as to how the coming changes will play out, which means that each of us gets to decide how we would like things to unfold. Chaos does not have to mean crisis; to some extent it’s up to us to decide which way we want it to be.

What would you just love to have happen, for yourself and for the world? What is the very best you can imagine? Take time to consider what that would be, what it would be like. And then have the courage to choose it. Write it down. Share it with others. Talk about it. Take actions that help move things in that direction. You can do this. Everyone can. It’s what we’re being called to do and become.

The future we create together has the potential to become a truly Golden Age of peace, prosperity, fairness, happiness, and stability.  Such a world is almost impossible to imagine, from where we stand now, neck-deep in a messy world with massive problems to solve.  And yet, by all predictions, such a future is where we could be headed — as long as we continue to dream it alive.

Dare to conceive and birth a beautiful world. Dare to become as beautiful as you can dream. Dare to face your longing for grace, for wonder, for magic. And then dare to create it. The power is yours. The power is ours.

Thank you for taking the time to read (or listen) to this today. If something touched you in what I said, I’d love to know what it was. Did anything stimulate a desire to explore deeper, change something, or ask questions? I’d like to know that too.
